Overview

My Contribution

Another project where I was the “Product Owner”. This project required a lot of technical design choices to make sure the time travelling feature worked properly and felt smooth. This meant a lot of discussion with the artists to help them setup a workflow for set dressing and clear communication with the programming team to make sure elements present in both timelines are synced.

As this was our first major project in Unreal Engine, there was a lot of learning to be done in how to manage large scenes with high quality assets. Combined with the complexities of a “time travelling” environment, a lot of time was spent on how to work with Unreal level streaming in an efficient manner.
